Green logistics – our responsibility towards the future

Environment and climate protection measures are an integral part of the constant development in the logistics sector. For many years, Paul Schockemöhle Logistics have been running optimisation processes with the aim of being able to provide services that are environmentally friendly or even CO2 neutral.

Intelligent logistic networks and transport management systems form the core elements of our concept. In the company’s own vehicle fleet we only deploy Euro-5 vehicles with rolling resistance optimised tyres and the latest telematics systems. We are continually working on reducing fuel consumption.

We organise and coordinate our processes according to quality standard DIN EN ISO 9001:2008, in order to document our sense of responsibility towards the environment and society. As of 2008, the sites at Mühlen, Damme and Mannheim have been certified according to SQAS Transport & Service and they also have Packaged Warehouse certification. SQAS is an additional quality standard specifically for sales, storage and transport, focussing on safety and environmental compatibility aspects.
